To promote intra- and cross-sectoral dialogue and increase the visibility and public understanding of civil society in Hungary was our goal when we initiated and organised the first nonprofit expo in 1996, the showcase of Hungarian civil society organisations. Entitled CIVILIÁDA 2005 the event will take place for the 10th consecutive year in Budapest on 13-14 October, 2005 with the main emphasis on civil opportunities and the future of the European Union.

CIVILIÁDA 2005
Over 250 civil society organisations will be represented on more than 100 stands where they will provide information on their programmes, activities and introduce themselves to the general public. The organisations exhibiting at CIVILIÁDA 2005 are active in a wide range of fields including: EU integration, environment, employment, youth, service providers, human resources, health, disabled and many others. The organisers pay special attention to organisations coming from the countryside to be able to actively take part.
