Dear Colleague, Re.: Invitation to CIVILIÁDA 2004, Budapest, 28-29 September, 2004 These are exciting times for Hungarian civil society organisations. Hungary joined the European Union on 1 May, 2004, the National Civil Fund started to operate this year, a proposal is tabled to elaborate and sign a Compact-type document framing government-civil society relations and efforts are being made to set up a legitimate national representation of Hungarian civil society organisations. It is against this background that CIVILIÁDA 2004, the annual showcase of Hungarian civil society organisations takes place in Budapest on 28-29 September, 2004 in the form of an exhibition and a series of programmes. It gives me pleasure to invite you and your organisation to CIVILIÁDA 2004. Please find enclosed its programme with additional information in English.
